Irish Citizenship
Renew or apply for your Irish passport online. In-person appointments are available for various passport services. Emergency travel documents can be obtained through the Irish Diaspora Center. Obtain Irish citizenship through a grandparent with applicable fees. Irish citizenship offers opportunities to live, work, study, and retire in Ireland and the EU. Consider the benefits and complete the "Declaration of Intention to Retain Irish Citizenship" if residing outside Ireland.

Get expert assistance for U.S. immigration queries with our qualified lawyers. Services include consultations, citizenship applications, Green Card renewals, family-based petitions, and guidance on other visas. We host free legal clinics twice a month, offering pro-bono consultations with licensed U.S. immigration attorneys. Open to all, regardless of status. Book appointments online. Separate resources available for Irish citizenship inquiries.

The Irish Diaspora Center (formerly the Irish Immigration Center) has been serving the needs of the Irish and Irish-American communities in the Philadelphia region since 1998. We work with the government of Ireland and other Irish organizations throughout the U.S. to act as a voice for Irish Philadelphia on both national and international levels.
We aim to strengthen the local Irish community and promote Irish culture and identity by providing direct support services and resources to individuals, groups, and other local Irish organizations.
