‘In My Own Words’ is a creative writing workshop designed to engage attendees to recall, reflect, and record their amazing stories. 

The Irish have a long and celebrated history of storytelling, from Cú Chulainn and the Ulster Cycle to Leopold Bloom in Ulysses and a common theme in every great story is a hero and their journey.

Our workshop will allow attendees to be the hero of their story and to record their journey in an environment that is creative, collaborative, and communal.

We know there are great stories to be shared in our community and look forward to working together to add yours to the rich legacy of Irish storytelling.

WHEN: The first workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 10 from 7 to 8:30 PM
The same workshop will be held again on Thursday, April 11 from 10 to 11:30 AM.

We plan to run this Wednesday-Thursday rotation or a minimum of 4 weeks ending on May 1st/2nd with the possibility of a fifth week based on interest and attendance.
