Open to all rising high school sophomores to seniors, the Dalta Connection is a travel program that offers students a chance to visit Ireland and explore the rich history, scenic landscapes, and bustling cities, all while experiencing a sampling of Irish University. Lodging at universities including Galway University and Dublin City University are on the itinerary along with cultural encounters and leadership activities.

Our activities during the trip will range from focusing on academics and student life in County Galway, County Donegal, and County Dublin.

We will learn and explore Ireland's lifestyle, culture, traditions, and history, and spend time with the locals embracing the ceol agus craic (music and fun).

• Experience three half-morning faculty-led workshops in the Colleges of Business, Science, and Engineering 

• Celebrate July 4th with local families and friends 

• Sightsee and visit some of the famous scenic attractions Aran Island, Cliffs of Moher, Salt Hill 

• Accommodation Galway University on-campus residence 

July 5th - 9th DONEGAL/DERRY

• Explore the coast of Donegal

• Visit Atlantic Technological University Letterkenny 

• Experience Kayaking, Archery, Go Karting, Rock climbing 

•  Possible sightseeing and experiences 

• Sliabh Liag (Ireland's highest sea cliffs)

• Glenveagh Castle and National Park, 

• The Derry Girl's wall 

• Fanad Lighthouse

• Accommodation Rockhill holiday and activity park/self-catering cabins

July 9th -11th DUBLIN CITY

• Visit Trinity College Dublin (Book of Kells)

• Walk along Grafton Street

• Possible visits include Kilmainham Gaol, Dail Eireann, United States Embassy, Croke Park
